Pros
1) 5 day week with hardly any need to work weekends or rotational shifts. 2) Highly encouraging appreciation mechanism from the customer. Periodic visits from onsite to offshore office also helps a lot. 3) A unique blend of Swedish & Indian culture in respect to work, celebrations and various organizational events. 4) Good support from superiors during times of personal crisis.
Cons
1) Lack of multiple customer base, thereby reducing the opportunity for working on varied technologies and processes for employees. 2) Relatively higher attrition rates, both offshore & onshore. 3) More of manual/mechanical approach in terms of daily operations, control & reporting mechanisms. 4) 3 month notice period and delayed annual appraisals.
