Pros
Interested projects, flexible work modes (except for junior staff who are mandated to move to SF and be in-person, but most if not all senior staff are remote)
Cons
All decision making power lies with MDs, who are prone to favoritism. Managers don’t have a say in promotions, so you need a lot of self advocacy since there is nobody else advocating for you There is a constant pressure to work harder, with unclear expectations for what is needed for promotions, growth, and compensation raises/bonuses. Consultants work long hours, and several are consistently burnt out and unhappy Promotions are very infrequent, raises are meagre, and bonuses for RA and Associates are disappointing at best.
