Pros
PTO, flexible hours, a few wonderful colleagues
Cons
The pay is abysmal, and they will try to justify it in so many laughable ways. The CEOs and Exec feel extremely out of touch with the future of International Education. They emphasize the way things have always run over innovation and inclusion. I had an Exec team member argue with me on several occasions over whether microaggressions are real. I had a white colleague tell me that I was not Asian because of a food preference. This was one of many microaggressions I experienced during my time working there. Overall the culture feels incestuous, and staff have worked there for far too many years to consider growth. During the pandemic layoffs, I witnessed the company resort back to how they had ran about 5 years prior to the pandemic despite positive growth in so many areas of the org. I fear their leadership is what holds them back from advancement.
