Pros

There are not many good things I can say about this employer but during the time I was there other than it seemed promising at times but nothing really panned out the way one would expect.

Cons

Things changed from day to day and week to week and I never really felt like I was part of the team. I was told that I was doing well when I asked but I wasn't ever given feedback without asking for it and the responses I received were always vague at best. I was managed by a different person ever couple of months and the clients that I was responsible for changed constantly. As soon as I started to feel comfortable with the team and clients I was managing, senior staff would change it and I'd have to start all over from scratch trying to learn about client and personnel needs. Looking back, I never had a chance at succeeding in this organization and I felt that few others did either. When things went wrong, everyone cared as much about who caused the problem as they did fixing it. If a client had an issue with someone, the immediate response was to change the person handling that client and/or task. I also reported to more than 4 people in less than a year so management never knew their people well enough to know if they were good or not.

Pros

I have been working at CHMB in management for several months and find CHMB to be a great company filled with many talented individuals who care about their work, understand the meaning of their work and the difference we can make for our clients. CHMB is a company that started very small and through strong leadership, has exploded with growth the last several years-- which is great. This growth also creates continuous opportunities for improvement, enhancement and streamlining. It is a work in progress and there are many great things about CHMB and also areas for improvement. What is most rewarding is being a part of the continuous progress and further development of CHMB. Yes, we work hard. Yes, it’s not perfect (but what company is). Yes, we have great people who are committed. Since we are continuing to grow, we need more talented, committed, constructive, service-oriented individuals to join our team. Together, we all can make a difference and continue building an even bigger and better organization that focuses on exceeding the expectations of our clients. I, for one, am excited about being a part of CHMB’s future success.

Cons

It's fast-paced, which can be challenging, but it is also fun and rewarding! The great people who work here are talented and can succeed, but it does take a can-do attitude.
