Pros
I love the Christian based belief system that surrounds a Christus facility. It makes me feel as though my job has a deeper purpose. I love how close my coworkers and I have gotten over the years, not just in Radiology but through the entire hospital. I will say that the benefits at Christus are great! The amount of PTO we get is great. Insurance has been pretty great so far as well.
Cons
Administration overlooks short-staffing in order to save money. After talking to administration numerous times in person about the problems our department was/is currently facing, the only response is a diplomatic answer. Nothing changes. Because of this, Technologists are facing burnout much quicker than usual. No career growth inside Radiology department. Several of us have requested to cross train to build our skills, all of which were denied.
