      Pros

      great introduction into healthcare if youre looking to be a PA, MD, RT, or nurse. Helps you become familiar with medical terminology and develop good bedisde manner.

      Cons

      After COVID, and patient volumes started to decline so did their respect and appreciation of workers. They shortened breaks, decreased site snack budget, no more tuition reimbursement, no more lunch on the company, no more holiday gifts, etc.

      Pros

      Hands-on experience with EMR systems and patient documentation. Strong patient-facing experience with diverse cases and populations. Exposure to working with multiple providers and medical specialties. Fast-paced environment that builds adaptability and multitasking skills.

      Cons

      Pay may feel lower compared to the intensity and volume of work- but unfortunately is typical for premed/prehealth professionals.
