Pros
You can make as much money as you want. There is always plenty of overtime - some voluntary, mostly mandatory.
Cons
There is no way to balance a professional career here with a family life. As stated, most of the overtime is mandatory and last minute. I have been in line to punch out at the end of a shift and approached by management with mandatory overtime and no time to call home to inform them.
