Mandatory overtime and short break - Anonymous employee CJK Group Employee Review

It’s a great place to work.

The place gets really hot in the summer.

Pay (I was being paid 16 an hour with differential.) No Customers to deal with. (It's a warehouse oriented job)

Management (I have seen the shift managers rehire people up to 3 times. I won't name names, but they don't care who is inside, as long as they area decent employee.) Hours. (Sure, you get holidays and a Sunday every other week, but if it isn't either one, they don't care at all, even if it's a documented medical reason. They want you there 40 sometimes 48 hours a week, and most times it's the latter. There is ZERO work-life balance, and over time it will take it's toll.) Short breaks. (There is, in an 8 hour shift, only 2 breaks every 2 and a half hours. This makes the work manageable, but there is a 10 minute, and a 20 minute 2 1/2 hours after that. That's it. They dislike whenever you use the bathroom or step away, even for a second. If you're using the bathroom, which everyone needs to do at some point throughout the day, they don't care. It's horrible, and you'd be better off just working someplace else.)
