Pros

- You gain some experience through doing tasks they assign you - You can take your breaks and lunch whenever you want - Lots of space to work - Not much oversight, if any

Cons

- You're pretty much just assigned tasks to complete. They often don't tell you the point of the tasks, they'll just explain how to do them and then leave you alone - It just feels like you're there to do free labor without any mentorship - No one has explained to me what the company even does or what they stand for. You just show up and get a feel for things on your own. - They'll schedule you to work for 3 days even if you tell them you only want to work for 1 or 2. I eventually pushed back and said I'm only coming in 2 days a week. 3 days is excessive for an unpaid internship that requires 8 hour shifts. - As mentioned before, it's unpaid - You have to pay for parking everyday - They make their interns go on 'runs' where they have to drive around to pick up/drop off things. They're located in the most sketch area of LA so I usually feel really unsafe while making those trips. - No one actually seems happy there and people are so unbelievably superficial.

Pros

If I were to make one up, I’d call it an industry welcome mat (chewed up by a dog but it’s still a mat)

Cons

Everything. An immense amount of micromanaging for a failing company. The CEO is always two hairs away from a lawsuit and makes the employees do her bidding. If you care about relationships, avoid because no one takes this company seriously. Every senior there is owned by her. Every young person there is being severely underpaid and overworked, there are dedicated “minions” who watch the CEOs dog. 0 flexibility, the CEO would make you wfh at a funeral. Weird culty trap and no one even makes good money lol. You pay $4 for parking everyday bc there’s no room in the budget but are overly demanded 25/8, if that paints a picture.
