Pros
-Although challenging projects, great team members made going to work enjoyable. -Good starting salary and benefits. -Company promoted and paid for training. -Regular team lunches and team building events all paid for by company. -Senior PM was hands-on and available to assist and advise as needed.
Cons
-Specific contract did not allow telework even during inclement weather. Time had to be made up. -DC location far from metro stops. -Overall Difficulty managing customer and client expectations leading to tense meetings. Scope, project plans, and schedules were points under regular contention by gov. -Workload seemed high and should have been better distributed throughout teams/members. -Teams were too lean and stretched thin along with too many meetings made keeping up with workload challenging. -No raises were given but did receive annual bonus.
