Pros
1. Product is great. 2. Some co-workers are friendly 3. Design floor is beautiful
Cons
1. They were dishonest about my position and forced me to mislead the sales team into thinking I was not a sales manager. It was bizarre. They told me not to wear my suit and to sit in the sales meeting with my mouth shut. Leadership got mad at me for having the position on my LinkedIn. 2. Sales managers get two sick days and zero PTO days per year. If you are told otherwise, get it in writing. I was told I would have one week of PTO and a normal amount of sick days during onboarding. 3. Leadership is disorganized and often dishonest. I do not think it is intentional. It seems like they make things up when they do not have an answer, or as a survival mechanism, which caused major communication issues. 4. Leadership lacks meaningful leadership skills beyond perform or get cut. Leadership constantly complained about and made fun of the sales team and mentioned one employee who had behaved poorly for over four years without taking any responsibility for not helping him improve. 5. Leadership admitted they completely misread me and shared those misjudgments with the owner. By the time we addressed it, it was too late. 6. The offer letter they asked me to sign was completely blank. The same was true for the document used in my first performance review. Leadership was also wrong about my performance, which led to a situation where I had to prove I was tracking my activity in a different system. 7. Leadership sent me on jobs I didn’t have training in. Then told me they would take it off so it wouldn’t affect my numbers. Leadership didn’t (likely forgot, I don’t think they were being malicious), and that resulted in inaccurate sales numbers. 8. When I confronted leadership and owner, they falsely claimed I had quit a week earlier. That ended all communication.
