Pros
A lot of available resources, training, and professional development. Everyone at district office is professional and easy to deal with. Parent involvement has been above average compared to other districts I’ve worked for (but this can be dependent of your school).
Cons
New district policy is sometimes rolled out prematurely, causing confusion on implementation. District requirements do not always equal best practice, and additional assessments (required by district, not state) leave little time for individualized student attention and small groups.
