Pros

Decent commission but nothing else

Cons

*Door to door sales *Must work 6 days a week. They say you can earn off Saturdays but the requirements are too high to be achievable *No health insurance or benefits *Misleading hiring process. They promise high commissions and no cold calling. The trick is that they never say no cold knocking. *Very dangerous work as a woman. I have been in many uncomfortable situations where I am going door to door by myself and have come across people who toe the line of sexual harassment. *Cult-like mentality where they have daily Zoom meetings to brainwash employees. They want you to think having zero work-life balance is a good thing. They also have required social gatherings every week, including your one day off a week. It's brainwashing 101 where they take up all your free time so their environment is the only thing you're accustomed to.

Pros

When I graduated college with a degree in graphic design, I never thought I would do something else. However, when I stumbled on this position at CMI doing outbound sales, it changed my life in ways i never dreamed. This position has given me many opportunities, such as traveling across the country which is a huge passion of mine. Financially, I have also prospered here. Through this role, I was able to get into my first apartment and purchase my first car, and this was only after working here for less than 6 months. It was a lot of learning and work at first, but the challenge is more than worth it. I'm excited to make this my career and I'm looking to open a new branch in the future here.

Cons

It's not a typical 9-5 type of position. It's not a role where someone can clock in, clock out and leave work alone after working hours type of thing. If someone wants to get ahead they definitely will have to put in longer hours to be good.

Pros

I started with CMI right after I graduated college with my business degree. I was originally looking for just some experience and I did gain that for sure. They work with AT&T so its a good product to sell and they have really good training. The biggest highlight for me was the earnings. I made over 70k after working there one year and it was my first sales job.

Cons

Con. The hours are long especially if you want to be good. They work 6 days a week usually and some nights I was out late closing sale and didnt get home to 9pm. Not a position to do unless your’e trying to actually work.
