Pros
Some of your coworkers will be friendly
Cons
There are many problems with CMI: 1. Management and leadership are incompetent and largely do not know how to run their teams, allocate adequate time and resources, apply reasonable expectations, or support your collaboration with your direct team and with other verticals. As a result you will be forced to work many extra hours (60+ hour weeks) without pay to keep up. Unfortunately leadership also lacks basic human decency and instead of thanking you or showing any gratitude for your extra time they will lambaste and ridicule you, often in front of others, for your output. 2. During the working hours you do have they will make you go to Philadelphia and waste your time doing pointless murder mystery gimmicks and sitting in bellringer meetings that will then require you to work many extra hours on the weekend to make up the difference. 3. The people team are some of the worst offenders of all: they are largely incompetent and don’t know the first thing about marketing. They talk nice and say they are there to support you but in reality they will blow you off and stonewall your attempts to get help when you report any issues to them. 4. The pay is meager and not really competitive with what other agencies offer. 5. The culture is really nothing special; the people are really just looking out for themselves and the company doesn't offer any worthwhile perks. They frequently deny your summer Fridays, and other benefits they say they offer, and will tell you PTO carries over to the next year but then will require you still make up the hours.
