Pros
Hire great personalities, great office location to work in Central London. Opportunities to develop are high if you're an over achiever and easy to standout with in-office culture. Owner is advocate on driving your own career growth, but doesn't trust employees. Poor people leaders in London have left, leaving opportunity for better employee experience to keep talent. They've focused more on hiring more qualified people over grads. Working on adding more tools to automate tasks and processes as the business relies on outdated tools/excel.
Cons
High micromanagement with data driven leaders over people driven leaders, you're not trusted until you produce. This includes, filling weekly activity reports, attending 3 x 830am meetings every week, mandatory for leadership to ensure you start on time. Leadership team fails to justify targets and leans on inexperienced grads with lack of accountability to train them. There is a big communication problem throughout the organization and frequently dealt with issues from years back. Well known for paying below industry standards and leadership is more likely to pay more to keep someone when leaving than when they're a high achiever. Process for pay increase and many internal admin tasks take a very long time. CMS likes to hire one type of employee and are not flexible in changing things to accommodate different types of talent. This is why turnover rate is so high, especially in people operations and sales.
