positives: - good collegial atmosphere between people of the same position - working within a cutting edge field that can have an impact in the industry
Cons
- clique environment upper management vs. lower positions - no transparency in disseminating information about company updates/finances e.g. december 2024 still hiring new staff and in January 2025 people were made redundant - no transparency in hiring of certain roles e.g. no advertisement of a role but then all of a sudden a person was hired - 0 chances of development especially in the mid to low positions - Within R&D platform improvements are solely driven by sales and input by mid to low employees are not taken into consideration - Complaints brought to HR are only discussed and followed up with no action - loads of gossip due to the lack of transparency which in part creates a toxic environment - no accountability from higher management when things go sideways - barely any salary increases and the bonus is also unreliable and tied to too many things that significantly decreases the chances of anybody getting it - getting overworked while upper management lounges at home
