Cons
Hard to get internal promotion unless you are already salaried. Unqualified salaried personnel can get interviews for other salaried positions when qualified hourly candidates who have been recognized for outstanding contribution to the company are sent "no thanks - we've chosen a better qualified candidate" email when they have NO current candidates and the role desperately needs filled. No consistency on HR policy (some employees charged 10 hours of vacation time during mandatory overtime and others are charged only 8). Hourly employees not paid for time traveled between buildings which is in violation of Federal law (Portal-to-Portal Act). Company preaches valuing employees who contribute and try to make a difference.... definitely not the case if you are not salaried personnel with a Bachelor's degree - even if you've been a highly recognized salaried employee at prior companies.
