Pros

The food in the cafeteria was pretty good.

Cons

- lots of backstabbing and snitching going on to advance people's agendas. - management simply does not listen to staff - pay is not at all competitive - forced into the pension plan - and it was underfunded.....so good luck with that when you retire - you pay for parking - and then they force you out of the underground spot you've paid for so they can charge people when events are held. - many people here are simply clueless....and likely wouldn't be able to find work elsewhere.

Pros

Client-centered approach, team-based, and family friendly. This organization offers a great deal to prospective employees in terms of professional growth, and a chance to make a substantive difference in the lives of people who are blind or partially sighted.

Cons

As a non-profit charitable organization, CNIB has challenges compensating employees competitively with the for-profit sector. That said, quality of life and morale with this organization more than compensates for that.
