Pros

Stretch and expand skills; lots of different populations for staff to work with. Great PTO policy.

Cons

Pay for staff below the exec leadership level is poor at best and raises almost invisible. Exec leadership all over the board in the decisions they make, most of which are designed to protect their turf and their perks. Favoritism and cliques rampant; power is not shared. Clinical operations under the direction of multiple VPs and senior VPs - many of whom have no recent clinical experience - rather than one individual being the 'go to' person; even the VP of Clinical Services has his direction overruled and changed. Agency's inability to adapt to new RBHA and over-reliance on AHCCCS for more than 90% of revenue has resulted in 2 sizable lay-offs in the past 8 months while the agency continues to aggressively recruit (?!). Way too many administrative personnel instead of direct care staff who can actually bill for services.

It is rewarding serving the underserved as well as helping people who truly need it.

This is truly a case of corporate squid games. Employees are in constant fear of losing their jobs. Executive leadership have created a TOXIC environment of job insecurity where their employees have to backstab, make up lies to HR and bully their colleagues in order to preserve their own survival. Executive leadership are completely out of touch of the working employees. Do not fool yourself this is a TOXIC work environment, full of bullying, gossiping, backstabbing, and belittling. They throw their employees out with the trash with an 80% turnover and fire rate. They fire people without warning, without reason and without cause, hiding behind made up reasons and the right to work clause. There is a reason why this company is bleeding money and can’t retain employees. If you care about your own mental health RUN far away from this place!!
