Pros

Good training and support with product and marketing. They do special things for their Representatives throughout the year but they put a lot of restrictions on that so it's very difficuilt to quality for it. Some managers are better than others.

Cons

Lack of hands on training and mentoring (they claim they do but it is rare to see this in reality). Pricing not very competitive and on top of that your clients must became members of County Farm Bureau and pay annual fee whether they like it or not or you have no sale. Oh and you can't include that in insurance payment because it is considered a donation to a non for profit organization but you can't opt-out of it unless you want to pay a lot more in insurance premium than the original quote (which for the most part isn't that competitive anyway). They help with marketing but there is only a limit of how much you can send every week because of agency budget. In this position you have to work 50 or 60 hour weeks including weekends to be somewhat successfull and that would be fine if you actually owned your own business but here you are not running your own business like they claim, you are running a business for a corporation because you can work there for years, build a huge book of business and if you die, they take it all, they can also fire you at any time and give your book of business to all new agent to service your clients. Good stop to learn the business but go somewhere if you want to own it.
