Pros

I made some really good friendships among my peers in junior roles in the company. Most of them have also left the company at this point.

Cons

Although not publicly acknowledged, Creation hires almost exclusively from one religious background, and expects participation from all it's employees in a narrow (and somewhat extreme) interpretation of that faith practice. This has included encouraging all members of the company to take part in fasts, and the 'Chief Spiritual Officer' of the organisation leading bible studies in which he has made homophobic and sexist comments. They claim to practice the values of 'love, service, and excellence'; instead they weaponise these values to make employees never feel good enough regardless of the level of their performance - burnout is extremely common in this organisation. Staff are encouraged to bring their whole self into work and share their concerns directly with SLT and the CEO. Unfortunately any honesty from staff is commonly used against them and sharing any criticism will initially be stonewalled and ignored. If the staff member continues to persist with their concerns, even when shared by the majority of the junior staff, the messenger becomes villainised and forced out of the company.

Pros

Most peers were a joy and made the office experience really enjoyable.

Cons

Spirituality and outward faith was used a lot to judge people subjectively and force people to conform. Love, service and excellence was used as measure of people's performance, but it was all based on what leadership perceived as loving and serving which was often just performative whilst those who had more quiet personalities or displayed love in other ways were punished and bullied. There is no room for quieter personalities in this organisation. The word culture is thrown around without any real understanding of the word, and whether or not you fit the culture was just based on what leadership judged of your personality rather than your work ethic. Despite genuine attempts by many to highlight and fix issues in the company, leadership often displayed a lack of humility and willingness to listen. Whenever the company faces any hardship, leadership often took it out on the employees through tightening control and imposing arbitrary rules. Many have been hired under false pretences and promises that aren't followed through on, including many being enticed to leave good jobs to join the company, then let go or made to quit under hurtful circumstances. Some people have also been hired under the promise of visa sponsorship then just let go of suddenly, with no security for their future in the country.
