Pros

None. At first I thought my manager genuinely cared. I was have panic attacks and sharing. They kept saying “this is the hardest job in the company, give yourself grace” Well a few months later, after being open everyday, I took a leave and I felt good about it. I felt like my manager had my back.

Cons

Being honest about my mental struggle. Cost me my job. Well, she didn’t. I was in consistent contact with my HR, as one does in short term disability leave. My manager reached out once via email through the entire leave. It was a week before my return and they stated the wants to catch up. Our catch up was two day after my leave ended. I hopped on the call, saw another rep. And I was then terminated because my absence was a “hardship” on the team. I asked if I could be transfer, which was offered once prior to leave. They repeated themselves and let me go on the 29th. There were 30days that month, I emailed my hr rep whom I talked to about my return a week prior and asked about insury. “Oh that ends at the end of the month” I replied “tomorrow?”? They said yes. I had an in person doctor’s appointment on the 2nd. Had to cancel. Had to get off most my meds. Unemployment sided with CSC. I have had so much extra mental distress since. Words can’t explain, I lost everything because I needed that time and still do to better myself.

Pros

Great benefits. Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 at home) is nice for people who want to switch up the days they go into the office / work from home.

Cons

Terrible work-life balance! Overtime is optional, but managers try to guilt-trip you into working OT. The raise they offered was laughable, and I wasn't the only one who was insulted by it. Management is incredibly petty. I also sat through many conversations, started by a leader, surrounding politics and religion. If you're in the annual reports department, it is incredibly difficult to get out. I saw many people try to get into other departments only to be blocked each time. If you're in a satellite office, they will forget about you! They only care about the DE offices.
