Pros

The buildings are modern. You can work from home for 2 days a week. They hire people from all different backgrounds, experience, and education levels.

Cons

No more remote work, even for people who were initially hired as remote. They are denying ADA accommodations requested by doctors because they say it is within their rights to choose IF and HOW they accommodate disabled workers! There is no transparency, fairness, or honesty regarding this process or who makes these decisions. HR and leadership are rude and dismissive which makes it a hostile environment. They hire people in leadership and project management roles who have no idea what CSC does because they can "train" them. Not good for the customers who are expecting someone knowledgeable and experienced. Also, not empowering for the rest of us, because instead of promoting from within, they will hire someone external who has no competency in this field and pay them more than us! The pay is low, a lot of my colleagues who work 2nd jobs in restaurants or retail to make ends meet. It is very hard to get promoted, even if you excel at your role, if you aren't "popular" because of office politics. They want people in office but there aren't enough desks, so you have to "book" a desk and you have no idea who you will be sitting next to each day. There is also not enough parking so they ask you to park in a different lot and walk across the road in the cold with your laptop and bags. As other reviews have stated, some are given more privileges than others! It really just depends if you are one of the lucky ones.

Pros

Great benefits. Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 at home) is nice for people who want to switch up the days they go into the office / work from home.

Cons

Terrible work-life balance! Overtime is optional, but managers try to guilt-trip you into working OT. The raise they offered was laughable, and I wasn't the only one who was insulted by it. Management is incredibly petty. I also sat through many conversations, started by a leader, surrounding politics and religion. If you're in the annual reports department, it is incredibly difficult to get out. I saw many people try to get into other departments only to be blocked each time. If you're in a satellite office, they will forget about you! They only care about the DE offices.
