Pros
Good HR department. Very helpful and available to support questions on timekeeping, bonus program, end of contract support, etc. Regular communication from leadership but low level of interference with daily activities. Performance recognition (and bonus $). 100% time billable to client so 40 hours/week = 40 hours. Good education benefit reimbursement program.
Cons
Contract work is different than other private sector employment. Be very clear on contract timeline and stipulations Before taking a position. Contract extensions can occur outside these timelines (it did for me) with good performance and a willing client but there is still a risk. Could be slightly higher pay based on this risk.
