      Pros

      Great people. Getting to work with professors and students can really inspire you to do your best. It is also amazing getting to be part of research on a daily basis. The departments is adding more intro material for TAs. I think it will be extremely helpful for first timers, not so overwhelming.

      Cons

      Pay for a TA is not great. I think if you are a regular employee the pay is much more acceptable.

      •Making Connections •Gain experience in public institutions on how things work around here.

      Cons

      •Management could be so entitled. When I was a staff member, leadership sees you as trash. Leadership could be scary! It’s all about reputation here so be careful and stay on the low. Just do your work and leave.
