You weren't punished for giving feedback to your supervisor. You were given several written and verbal warnings about basic, but significant mistakes in accounting tasks that continued up until you were let go. As a senior, experienced professional in your field, those types of recurring mistakes and an unwillingness to learn from them was what resulted in your dismissal. Hopefully you take our feedback on those concerns to heart and work to improve! Best of luck. However, if you don't take feedback and work to meet the standards needed for your role, we will let you go. We think that's common sense and fair. If you don't, probably not the best place for you.
