Pros
My very first job and for 3 years I really enjoyed it. Weekly pay, benefits, direct deposit and a week of paid vacation Friendly coworkers/security personnel Climate controlled facility Decent break room with many choices available Can be moved if work area is too difficult and position available elsewhere Easy job though quite a learning curve and time flies by once in the flow (unless the units were heavy) Matt Parsons is good looking
Cons
Temp for 2 years before being hired on Pressure to push quantity over quality to meet daily quota High turnover rate and lots of temps Difficult to work with management and supervisors Mandatory overtime - work weeks straight with no days off Dusty equipment and units you have to get use to Down times with broken repair equipment and having to look busy while you wait for work or problems to be resolved Lack of materials needed to complete work Worked for 3 years and made the same as new workers/temps Horror stories include working a 16 hour shift to meet a deadline where people were fainting and throwing up and expected to show up the next day in 8 hours on the weekend.
