Great work enviornment, great people, lots of time off. Management cares and is involved. Good pay. Relaxed work load. Work from home.

Work isn't challenging. Sitecore sucks!!

Co-workers were inspiring, worked hard, and were some of the most innovative in their fields. The industry is fast-paced and the duties and responsibilities constantly changing. Benefit packages were usually good. Nelnet (overall owner) was committed to employees' good health, which was refreshing. Nice amount of vacation time. Salaries were generally fair.

Too many meetings, lack of real direction and focus. Management was too often at loggerheads with each other and sniping based on personal dislikes. Team members were often left stranded on their own with no backup. Morale was continually low as a result. Technology and PM teams were often new, had poor leadership, and did not understand the current systems enough to fix simple problems and there was constant red tape to get anything resolved. Complaints to management / HR had no effects. Constant restructuring and layoffs of long-term employees were common and good people quickly left for better opportunities elsewhere. Transition from start-up company to publicly-traded entity rocky at best.
