Pros

CXT was a good company. True, lots of turnover but solid employees or green employees who became solid. Cool managers and truly remote work then came Ionic.

Cons

CXT - kow pay. Since Ionic purchase, 75% of CXT employees have been laid off. I was moved to a role that had zero to do with the role I applied for then the let me flounder. Inept managers that only care about KPIs and metrics regardless of if we are actually helping the clients. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

I was at CXT Software when the acquisition happened, and honestly? The first few months were rough. A lot of uncertainty, new processes to learn, different culture to get used to — it's a lot to take in all at once. But if you can push through that adjustment period, there's actually a lot to like about being part of a bigger organization like Ionic. Things are more structured now, the tools are better, and there's more room to grow than there ever was before.

Cons

The transition period was stressful — communication could've been clearer. Processes changed a lot at once, which was overwhelming at first.

Pros

CXT Software is very inclusive and hires people from all around the world. This has been amazing for me because I don’t need to move to another country to get a good job. I can work from my location and still be part of a global team. Working with people from different countries and backgrounds makes the team more creative and interesting. I feel like my ideas are heard and that I’m part of something bigger, even though I’m not in the same place as my teammates. The company values good communication and teamwork, even with people working in different time zones. This has made it easier for me to manage my work-life balance. It’s great to be in a company that gives everyone a chance, no matter where they’re from.

Cons

The work can be hard and there are high expectations, especially since we work on projects with teams around the world. Sometimes the deadlines are tight, and it’s a bit stressful. But I feel proud when I finish something difficult, and I know it’s worth it in the end. The hiring process was very detailed and challenging. It took a lot of time and effort, and sometimes I felt a little nervous about it. But the good part is that they kept me updated on my progress, which helped me stay positive. Even though it was tough, I’m really happy to have gotten the job in the end.
