Pros

Some hard-working and kind people in the departments, quite a nice product.

Cons

Insincere C-level leadership promises you to take care of the team and lead the company to the top level, but the next day proceeds to layoffs and turns talented tech people into average sales. Hysterical unproductive behavior of the managers who started the hiring process on the day of mass layoffs. No corporate culture, no effective cross-functional communication, and no decent salary. Big problems of work legalization for people outside the US. All the organizational promises most probably will never come true.

Leadership is supportive and inspired, encouraging continuous development and open communication. I've also had the honor of working on an amazing, cutting-edge ed-tech product that’s reshaping the learning landscape, making a meaningful impact in the education and corporate worlds.

Cons

CYPHER is a remote-only company. I wish there were more opportunities to collaborate and brainstorm with my colleagues in person.

Cons

1980s software practices. No documentation, no knowledge sharing, no tests, no standards. Hero culture and technical gatekeeping.
