Pros

Free lunches and activities though the year. Some of the staff.

Cons

The VP doesn't understand the business and is running the place with relying on others that also don't know what they are doing. There's no proper direction to follow and it changes weekly or daily. They have a few good people but most of them have already given up or simply don't care anymore. They have some good clients but most are based on friendships and bribes. Lots of free stuff offered for work ... some larger clients get taken out for meals and events in return for work. I've even seen large kick backs to general contractors just to get in the door. Most of the time they just get by with good enough and low profit margins and then blame the techs and other managers for budgets. The place is a large rumour mill and they will fire you just because they think you did something before they ask you or get more details. Senior managers are all dirty and only care about making them look good. I'll be surprised if they last another year.

Pros

I was a proud member of the CaTECH team for more than 4 years. It was a pleasure working for a company with such a rich culture and driven management team. Hard work is recognized, communication was more or less never an issue and professional development was encouraged heavily. It was fun while it lasted.

Cons

None. CaTECH has always done right by me.

Pros

This is a team-based company where collaboration is key. Team building exercises are always a blast. There’s also a lot to look forward to in the summer months. It’s not hard to fit in with the culture. Contribute and pull your weight. That’s it. You’d be surprised by the number of people who think they can get away with just about anything around here.

Cons

Management needs to crack down on the people who clearly aren’t doing their job to the best of their ability. We all know who they are.
