Has its ups and downs - Anonymous employee Cabinets.com Employee Review

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We are always trying to grow as a company and help our employees be the best they can be. We have a very diverse group of people at Cabinets.com; our team is comprised of people at all levels. At times we have hired some more junior level team members that were less experienced. The thought process was to give them an opportunity to get onboard with a growing company and help them expand their knowledge base and grow with us. Unfortunately, some of those individuals required more oversight than we initially intended to have to provide. That situation may have led to what appears as micromanagement. The truth is when you have people with less experience, they often need more managing and encouragement to produce the quality of work that is desired for someone in their position. People either rise to the occasion or fail to produce, which is what happened here. Currently the team we have in place has never been better. The quantity and quality of work coming out has also never been better; and there is little oversight required by management. There is daily accountability for completion of tasks and goals— as is the case in all companies. We are proud that we have assembled an extremely outstanding and talented group of people that work effectively in a collaborative setting.
