Pros

Many opportunties to move around, and travel. Pay is good once you reach Manager positions and above. Largest gaming company in the world-attiude of working for the best in the field.

Cons

Long hours put in for nothing. Little to no work -life balance. MBA driven and run...poorly! Little concern and respect given to experience. More attention give to education. The more recent the MBA, the larger the title and salary. Textbook teaches nothing about the industry. Experience is key. Senior Management are over paid, given too many benefits, too much respect, and are not trust worthy leaders. Senior Management is also very clicky. High school environment. Development of staff is weak and hardly give attention/focus.

Pros

Peers and teammates are supportive of each other. For a digital organization, the pay was very good but I believe they've significantly reduced salaries. Some of the managers were very good.

Cons

The Caesars Digital team operated in a flat organization, where some GMs were trying to actively manage teams of 75-150 individuals. Career growth is almost non-existent as a result. C-suite management was non-existent and came from finance or hospitality backgrounds. Org success was purely tied to annual EBITDA and without understanding of how a digital/engineering organization should be run, resulting in disconnected employees (most of whom were remote), lack of scalable structure, and zero oversight.
