Learn a lot about the finance industry and work with executives at successful companies across many industries. If you are a morning person it’s great because you start early and you get out early (6am-3pm). All upper-management is local and accessible for help and learning, keeps you involved in the process from start to finish. Long operating history with a solid structure and processes in place so great opportunity to hit the ground running with support from day one.
Cons
The sales cycle is long in this industry, so takes getting used to if you come from an environment where you make smaller sales every day. Could use some more social activities outside of work, as well as more formal training at hire. A lot of the training is learning on the job.
