Cons
I worked at California Consulting as a grant writer for several months. In that time, the CEO would arrange huge contracts with cities, districts, etc., but only paid a fraction of it to the grant writers, who were paid on a contract basis. The rest went to himself and the management team. Cons: not a positive work environment, no team spirit, CEO is just out for himself. No chance for professional development, etc., and no quality control. He will not pay you enough to live on, very high turnover because of this.
