Well it’s all favorites...your work ethic doesn't matter. It’s who you know and who can you knock down on your way to the top. I’ve seen a lot during my time with Camden...The Camden culture has changed a lot. They preach all about being a team but at the end of the day, its everyone man for themselves. They rather hire externally than internally. People who have been within the company 5+ years having no advancement opportunities, but if you know the right people, raises and management opportunities whenever available.
For the amount of work, the pay is ridiculous. Not only will you be a technician, but you will also be a full time groundskeeper and housekeeper.
Another huge issue- overtime! They send employees home for being 20min over! So not only are you underpaid, they don’t give you a chance to extra money by completely cutting overtime opportunities unless you’re management.
