Pros

Camp Augusta has been a life-changing experience for me, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Having worked here for many years, I’ve been continually blown away by the vibrant community, the amazing kids, and the countless lessons I’ve learned along the way. The art program is truly something special. With its wide variety of creative activities and the chance to learn unique skills, it sparks inspiration in everyone—kids and staff alike. Also, the high ropes courses are incredible, offering challenges that build confidence, teamwork, and lasting memories. One thing that truly sets this camp apart is its deep commitment to intentional philosophies. The camp emphasizes practices like Nonviolent Communication, Your storied life, clean communication, intentional speech, zero food waste, and so many other serving models of connection and sustainability. These values aren’t just taught—they’re lived and woven into camp life. And then there’s the setting—it’s impossible to overstate the beauty of northern California. Spending time immersed in such incredible nature has been grounding and rejuvenating, adding another layer of magic to an already transformative camp experience. Camp Augusta isn’t just a camp; it’s a home, a family, and a place that fosters growth, joy, and connection. Whether you’re looking for adventure, creativity, or just a chance to be surrounded by amazing people, this place has it all. 💚

Cons

There are so many incredible clinics to learn that it’s hard to choose what to do!
