Pros

Company culture strived to promote a positive work environment for both employees and patrons.

Cons

More often than not, employers took advantage of their status and would consistently make employees feel uncomfortable in the workplace. Additionally, communication with scheduling conflicts was handled in an unprofessional and unclear manner.

Pros

If you enjoy working with kids, this could be a great job for you! Additionally, the other camp counselors are all around the same age (between 16 and 25) so it is a nice way to make new friends in the area, and there is a pretty social environment both at work and outside of work.

Cons

The management team was not always supportive of me when I was having problems with my campers either not respecting my authority or being inappropriate with other campers. The management team also made some inappropriate jokes to me while I was at work, many of the jokes regarding certain races.
