Fine Summer job - Bunk Counselor Camp Pinecliffe Employee Review

Good Community where you were able to meet people from all over the world. My favorite part was being able to live with those people for the time that I did and make those memories with them. Your time goes quick here and its a lot of fun.

Pay was ok. You get paid mainly in relocation benefits, meals and such.

Bonded with fellow counselors (because of the hectic and disorganized working conditions) Felt like I genuinely grew as a person from working here, if only for the Herculean feats that I was required to pull off on a routine basis.

Poor communication with management, disorganization, emotionally abusive “we’re all a family here” type stuff. Senior staff would openly speak poorly of other counselors to me, play favorites, blatantly misrepresent job expectations, ect.
