Truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of something with huge reach and impact. Finding a personal sense of purpose through work here that directly and indirectly impacts the entire nation is very rewarding. Work atmosphere is casual, friendly, easy going. This is a start up environment where you might have to wear multiple hats, and not always get the structured job duties list and title that are perfectly aligned with what you do on a daily basis, but it's a phenomenal opportunity for people who are a little bit out of the box, come with a varied set of skills, and are excited for a ever-changing set of challenges to solve. Very start-up culture-like, which is not for everyone, but if it's for you, it's an exciting place to be involved in.

Could be a pro or a con depending on who you are and your personal take, but similar to pros above: if start up culture is not for you and you want a more structured work day, where you can clock in and out and know exactly what you're doing on a day-to-day, with minimum pivots, this is not going to be a good match. If you're flexible, excited by different projects, changes, fast growth, fast decision making, and creating great things that impact the nation (sounds cheesy, but really true), then I wouldn't say there's a con.
