Pros

Hybrid role with a supportive team and positive work environment. No negative energy.

Cons

The salary is extremely poor. Management frequently promises bonuses and other incentives as they continue to increase our workload, but they rarely follow through. Last month, they claimed the company hadn’t met certain targets, so not only did our team not receive the contractual bonus that is part of our agreed salary, but we were also told we actually owe the company money. There are no opportunities for advancement or growth. Management even changed our job titles to reflect additional responsibilities from another team, yet this transition was not accompanied by a salary increase. In fact, my current salary is lower than what I was originally offered. I was later told that the original contract was a mistake and that the company intended to offer a lower salary from the beginning. Overall, I am very disappointed in the company and would not recommend it to others.

Pros

Candescent has a strong, people‑first culture and is in an exciting growth and build phase, offering real opportunities to make an impact. Employees feel valued, heard, and supported, and the company is actively building a connected culture that brings people together. The work is purposeful, focused on building modern digital banking solutions that matter.

Cons

It has been a great company so far and it is a fast-paced environment.

Pros

Legacy employees are great. People who actually know what the structure is and know the world of financial institutions.

Cons

Senior Leadership is more interested in lying to customers (Somehow at Accelerate 2025 we were at parity with competitors, but at Axis 2026 we were behind but spent the year catching up?) and making promises they don’t know how they can deliver on. Also, every member of the SLT and their VPs all have their own agendas and don’t know how to build something sustainable. They are trying to convert the company into start-up, even though we had a well-established business presence. They would rather work their employees to the bone instead of making things manageable. Also, they build out the Agile leadership before any other new organization. So now, product and IT is focused on complying to “radiance” rather than radiance accelerates how we get our work done.
