Pros
The only good thing about this company is the product & that it was 100% remote.
Cons
*The management are extreme MICROMANAGERS who literally expect you to put your Microsoft Teams camera on 100% of the time (yes, a full 8 hours) and even when you are cold calling. They want to constantly see what you're doing and breathe down your neck. Definitely cheap call center boiler room vibes. *Work hours: 9am-5:30pm with a stingy 30 minute lunch break because that is the legal minimum lunch break required by law. *Ramp Time is 3 days...yes only 3 days because they are so cheap. They want you cold calling 50+ businesses a day starting on Day 4...they are too cheap to even give you LinkedSales Navigator or Apollo (which they claimed was "on the way" )...they don't even care enough to give you the tools needed to succeed but they have no problem holding you accountable *The Commissions are an embarrassing estimated 1% of what you sell. 1% is pathetic...I've never seen such a cheap company in my life. Yet the products are premium ($3,000-$10,000). Imagine selling $20,000-$29,000 of functional art in a month to get only $232.50 commission check...place is a complete joke. *$55k/year base pay. Canvus was extra slow to pay out and many people's checks didn't clear until days or even up to a week after depositing them to their bank. *Looks like the company doesn't have adequate funding given how cheap they were in general. *It is really a shame that company is run so poorly because the product is really cool. *6 Account Executives onboarded at the same time and either 1 or none of them were still with the company 3 weeks after the initial start date....everyone was either fired or quit.
