Pros

depends what team you land in if security team then good exposure same for core technologies

Cons

no freedom to work manager will stand on your head to close cases, if case is closed and low score comes than you are in trouble PIP will be issued with out even notifying you or formal discussion 30 people were issues PIP last year and chucked out even after performance food is worst than roadside vendor toilets stink and remain dirty HR is part of management operations only so anything you report to HR will backfire on your job shifts will be changed without notifying you one week you will be called in evening the next in graveyard worst company ever

Pros

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Cons

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
