Capgemini Engineering Response

Dear colleague from Hamburg, thank you for your review on our Glassdoor profile. I am pleased that you particularly emphasize our offer of flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home or abroad. At the same time, I realize with regret that you are not satisfied with some of the things that define us an employer. As we want to constantly develop and improve, I would be happy to have a personal exchange with you. Please contact me via Teams or e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Diana

Pros

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Cons

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
