Pros

Flexi work timings/timely payment of salary/yearly gifts given to employees/annual team outing/

Cons

Only those people who are obedient to the management and never question the boss get the promotions performance appraisal is not based on performance at all.It is solely based on how one maintains the rapport with the Boss Bosses tend to accentuate the achievments of the favorite people and overlook if the same achievments comes from a team member the boss is not very favorite of. Management does not take any corrective actions even if the attrition rate is more than 100%. Lateral hires are given more pay package than the existing employees. Exit interviews do not happen with Employees who are moving out.

Pros

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Cons

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
