Pros

They offer great exposure to several clients and hands on marketing/sales experience. This job has been a great out of college experience for me because I've been able to see what a direct marketing approach looks like without having to go door to door or be a telemarketer. It's also helped me learn about management and what it takes to move up in a company that provides real opportunities without having to sit behind some person who has been here for 25 years.

Cons

It is sales focused initially and that's definitely the hardest thing for me since I didn't know if I would be good at sales. However, they do compensate for that which is nice.

Pros

The owners are very good-natured and motivated. Their energy is reflective in most of the sales staff. The employees encourage each other to try to be the best sales person they can be. The mid-level leadership are attentive and hard working. The company's corporate atmosphere is reflective of the company's professionalism.

Cons

Recruitment ad was a little misleading, but after a day, it becomes very clear what the mission is: sell the product. Time-off is limited to one day week, but if you're working for commission, this is a good thing. Benefits...nonexistent...other than some quality training regarding a sales pitch and basic entrepreneurship. This is a LEGAL multi-level marketing business, but still looks like a pyramid on a paper. This not a bad "in-between careers" job or something to do outside of high school, but for people with degrees, leadership/staff experience, or other marketable skills, the client representative position (sales person) is not ideal.
