Pros
They are personable and compassionate on the surface. If you're a hard working individual who is a fast learner you can work your way up the ladder. Field crew are great guys who help you laugh through the pain of a rough day and are the absolute most enjoyable part about the job.
Cons
They intentionally tell the head super to knock you on reviews so they don't have to give you a reasonable raise. Sometimes none at all. They have no 401k plan, the insurance plan is ridiculously expensive, especially if you have a wife and children to add to it. If there is any mistake made, you will pay. Cluttered yard? Didn't see that metal a mechanic left in the way and blew a tire out on it? You're paying half the cost, mistake made on job? You're working minimum wage for the duration of the time that it takes to fix it. Whether it be minutes, or days. The hours are long and there is no work/life balance. Thus, being a good job for a young single person with no family at home. The work during the winter months is consistently slow, every year. This sends the owners into a frenzy as they are stressed, paying salary employees with zero source of income. When the work does come around, better hope you haven't found a second source of income, because your expected to jump right back into it after being off for a month. I could go on and on. If you're in need of a job to get you by, and only get you by. This place will work for you. If you're looking for a career and longevity, continue your search elsewhere. Life is far too short to waste it somewhere you're unappreciated, take it from someone who is growing old fast and has wasted too much time already.
