Good place - Case Sealer Caraustar Employee Review

This company was acquired by a competitor Grief Corp during my last 3 months as a contractor and began merging. But during my year there the people in the corp office Austell GA in the Threadmill Complex building were so great. I learned so much from the team around me in IT. I worked with so many departments to build out new forms and workflows. I really enjoyed working with Human Resources and the Treasury department among others on there projects. It is rare that you enjoy the people you work with . It was a long drive for me but worth it because I loved working with the people there and my role.

If my role would have been available after the acquisition I would have stayed. Unfortunately I was told my role was filled already.

Worked with caraustar for five years in various plants.Good benefits and somewhat decent pay. If you work your hard you can reach top pay fairly quickly. Coworkers are pretty cool and laid back for the most part.

Management makes you feel like you can move up In the chain but that rarely happens. Once topped out on pay your stuck there until it is time for cost of living raise, which is not even worth the struggle and dedication you put into the company. Management seems they do not really understand nor care what your daily struggle is on the particular machine your running nor do they try to fix the problem they just keep beating you down wanting improvement.
