- No support from management and lack professionalism
- Very toxic environment
- No growth in professional development
- Overworked during shifts and rare opportunities for OT
- Always short staffed, only hire incompetent people and only hire people based on who they know. Definitely a lot of favoritism, especially if you’re white.
- Only one nurse during PM shift and weekends and managing 175 residents
- Lack of training and need to confident
- Lack of protocols and run into a lot of ethical risks
- No part-time positions available
- No supplies to adequately provide services such as wound care, ostomy care, or during medical emergencies
