Pros

The only pro to this job is the benefits.

Cons

Micromanagement, Call Center, Zero Privacy, Zero room for error, horrible training program, terrible pay. If you want a job where you are glued to your desk, told when you can go to your alotted break via an assigned schedule, then this is the perfect job for you. They tell you when you are allowed to take your break everyday for the week. And it will change day to day. If you’re one minute past your scheduled break you will be dinged. And trust me they will know. There is no hiding it bc they track and literally watch every single click and minute of idle time. Most days you don’t even get to take your break at the time you’re supposed to take it bc the work is more important. If you're 7 minutes from 5 pm when it’s time to Clock out, sorry you’re not going anywhere. You are required to keep working to the very last minute and potentially get sucked into going well over despite having set working hours. Time does not matter. Management is able to come and go as they please to take care of their family pick up kids etc. For all other employees? Sorry, you need to reevaluate your work life balance bc you’re not allowed to be a parent or be available for your family during working hours. You have kids in the house? Sure that’s normal bc it’s a REMOTE position. But you better lock them out for 8 hours bc you will be told it’s interfering with your work to take a few minutes to attend to your kids even if you’re getting your work completed. The 2 month training is terrible. The recruiters will flat out lie and say this is not a call center and suck you in with their culture and values, but once you're in a few days of endless training you’ll quickly realize it was all a facade.

Pros

Interesting work: nobody hears this job title without a little curiosity Independent: once you're trained you're mostly given tasks and allowed to work whatever way best suits your needs Unique: you won't find another job that does exactly this in the area Benefits: pretty standard, but kick in on day 1 Growing field: by all appearances, this is a growing field in pharmacy, so job stability isn't an issue Management: Leadership at this location strives to make this a good place to work

Cons

The hours: most technicians will work from 2:30-10 AM. The pay: rate is decent, a little less than hospital rates, a little more than retail, but in general you will be capped at 35 hours a week. Independence: while there is a lot to say about the benefits of working on your tasks alone, there is also little in the way of any real supervision. This means that all interpersonal issues devolve into a one employee's word against another, leaving management reluctant to act. Management: Leadership at this location does its best to make this a good environment to work, but they do it at the expense of holding employees accountable.
